We know it can be daunting buying plants, especially online. We ensure you are completely satisfied. On the very rare chance your plant arrives damaged, we'll ship you a replacement and our Plant Experts will provide you with tips and tricks to keep your plant happy and thriving. 

Keeping Your Plant Safe 

Our uniquely designed packaging ensures your plant arrives to it's new home safe and sound! Every plant is first dropped into a dirt bag to keep the soil where it's supposed to be. Your plant is then sleeved if needed, protecting it's gorgeous leaves. Next, it is placed into a custom-made insert that is secured into the box. Finally, the box is taped up and sent off on its journey to you!

Where and how do you ship? 

We ship anywhere in the contiguous United States (excluding Hawaii & Alaska). 

To accommodate the best possible customer experience, we offer 3 different service levels for shipping and your order may ship via FedEx, UPS or USPS.

Shipping Options (window includes processing): 
Standard: 2 - 8 business days
Expedited: 2 -5 business days  
Rush: 2 - 4 business days

Do I need to be home to receive my package? 

No, we mail all of our orders without a signature required and your plant will be safe in it's box until you are able to bring it inside (we reccomend bringing it inside same day as soon as possible).

However, if the carrier still requires a signature for your location, they will make 3 delivery attempts (excluding weekends and holidays) to acquire a signature. If you do not sign for the package, you will be responsible for any re-shipping fees required.

What are your shipping rates? 

We charge a $9 flat rate for our Standard Shipping. 

Expedited and Rush rates will be calculated at checkout based on delivery windows and location. We have multiple farm locations around the country to ensure we are giving you the best possible rate based on your delivery address.  

When will I get my package? 

Please allow 1 - 2 business days for us to hand pick, clean, and package your plant. We do not work weekends or bank holidays. 

After your plant is packaged and ready to go, your delivery time will vary based on which shipping option you choose at checkout.

My order arrived damaged, what do I do? 

We proudly offer a 30 Day Happiness Guarantee. In the off chance your plant arrives frozen, dead, or otherwise not how you expected, we'll make it right!

Take a picture of both the plant and the box.

Please send us a message with the photo attached within 30 days of the delivery to support@livelyroot.com 

How do you ship plants in the winter!? 

We've developed custom packaging for the winter and cold months that includes the addition of a thermal protective sleeve. Think of it as a blanket for your plant's cold journey. 

If your location is experiencing severe cold weather, we might make the decision to hold the order until it is warm enough to ship.
